Building upon the core concepts outlined in Intro To Sketch Writing, Page to Stage introduces students the skills required to get your writing translated to the stage. This course offers a sharper focus on rewriting, technical refinement and comic action. Over eight weeks students will work in a highly collaborative environment punching up other’s ideas, developing their specific comedic point of view and sharpening their work into lean stage-ready comedic pieces, culminating in a showcase on week 7 followed by show notes, discoveries, and re-writes in week 8 where students will take what they learned from a public performance and use it to improve their work.
